You might be a Cowboys fan…

If you tear up a little when you find out that Texas Stadium is no longer : (

So I made it Dallas, and not only did I tear up about the home of the Cowboys, but also that it’s COLD here. Had to bundle up in down coats to clear brush off the land.

Not to worry, though, we spent the time indoors eating amazing home cooking (fajitas, chicken fried steak, grits, and lots o’ bacon) that Grace’s family made for us. They spoiled us, really.

But it didn’t take long to see the sun, as our trip across west Texas brought us into the Land of Enchantment. We stayed the night in Carlsbad last night, and are off to see Carlsbad Caverns today before we head north to Santa Fe.

More picts of the caverns and our trip north soon.
