Internet disconnect

Phew… getting to the Internet on this trip is much easier in my head than in real life. My apologies for not posting more.  Sydney and I are in Merida, which is on the opposite end of the Yucatan peninsula that we´ve been at for the past week. We are staying with friends and family of Cori and Arion´s, and they have been so much fun to be around. Sydney has made new friends with Arion´s 11 year old twin aunts, and I´ll admit that I have, too. The adults sit around the table and have these long discussions in Spanish that I can´t keep up with, so the kids and I all take off to play card games and charades.  It has been a lot of fun, and our Spanish has been getting better because of it.
